As of now she's running fine with the exception of a exhaust leak (cracked flex joint). Still have hopes to make it to the Sedan Meet (http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2633724) on the 10th, but if I can't I wont rush.

Ran her through her paces today with no problems thankfully. I hope my luck is as good tomorrow on the trip to Hemet for the remainder of the body work.

So my car is running fine, and I am now waiting on the painter to finish my bumpers. When he is ready, I will drop off the car to have him finish adjusting the bumpers, and repairing a dent. I will also have the front windshield replaced, and the rear removed and reinstalled with a new weatherstrip. Unfortunately I don't think my car will be able to make it to the Socal Sedan Meet (http://www.honda-tech.com/showthread.php?t=2633724) :(.

I had the exhaust leak repaired which required replacement the flex joint. The flex joint in the exhaust failed due to carelessly allowing the dead weight of the exhaust to hang on itself while the engine was out, resulting in a over extension/bending of the joint which led to a fracture. As I was leaving the muffler shop and entered the main road, I felt my car pop and make a horrid sound followed by a violent jerk to a halt. Upon inspection I discovered I had left the caliper bracket bolts loose for the drivers side front brake caliper. The top bolt for the caliper bracket fell off/out and the top part of the caliper fell forward wedging itself to the spokes and inner surface of the rim, much like a centrifugal clutch but spinning the opposite direction. With the lower bolt still in place I was able to reverse out of the main road, find my fallen bolt, and hand tighten the bolts until I reached home a couple miles away. Oops, need to be careful!

Thanks guys! I stopped by my old work place to have my buddy Enrique charge my A/C system. I'm happy now everything is almost done under the hood, however I did find that the paint on the strut tower repairs is chipping from stress :(. Oh well, what can ya do.

Today I cleaned the back seats and carpet with some diluted Woolite and carpet cleaner. I was also able to clean my all black Integra seat belts which have to be installed before the seats and interior panels. I have 3 out of 4 tail lights wired up from my 96-98 to 99-00 trunk conversion. Interesting, I discovered that on 99-00 Civic sedans the inner trunk lights do not function as a brake light, unlike the 96-98 which does. I am in need of a dual filament 99-00 tail light socket, and a single filament 2 wire socket in order to complete my trunk swap. Making progress, slowly but surely :).

It did! thanks Joel, I think I have the other connectors I need and just need to wire it up. Dee and Jay came over the other day and helped me install the door weatherstrip. I just need the clips for the remaining two doors, and from what Dee and Jay were telling me it's pretty expensive :mad:. I'm am still waiting on the painter and am hoping he finishes my remaining bumpers this weekend. We'll see how it goes :p.

Yea, I dunno about the painter. He's good but lags. I let him know I want it done now. We'll see :cool:. I got new insulation for under the carpet. I plan to cover as much area as I can. I also have plans to spray the trunk with a durable truck bed liner. I think it will add a lot more functional feel to the trunk. With the rest of the car being so shiny and all, I still want the trunk to feel rugged and able to be used.

I installed two layers of jute padding throughout the entire floorboard of the car including underneath the rear seat, as well as the carpet. I also got around to installing the rear seats and panels. Hopefully I can button up the rest of the interior tomorrow :).

Looks good Mike, I love the oem look. I just wish you'd fix that tail lamp. I would love to see the rear complete. I saw pics of the stru tower, oh boy what an awesome job. I bet your enjoying the bump free drive w/ improved performance. Maybe after this rain we can get toghther.

Damn right! :p We gotta get more "builds/histories/works in progress" goin on in here. I've been thinking about this forum and what it is. At the moment it is undefined with no direction and kinda just spilling out blurbs of car speak. I can see that the Garage area is probably the most active and interesting (IMO), I would like to see the Garage expand with many users. All to share their specific car. Not talk about someone elses, look at pictures of cars owned by unknown people, buy and sell parts, gossip, small talk or other things non car related. I see growth in a place that is a friendly environment where people who have immense pride in their projects can share them with people of equal appreciation for motorsports and automobiles. :beer:

I completely agree w/ that. The whole problem is to expand rapidly, would decrease member quality. I love the forum because it's filled w/ good stuff thus far, it's tranquil. So many ppl. though love the man stream drama, and do not truly appreciate or understand "grass root" based forums. I love the fact we share all walks of ideas, cars, and life. A mix an match of yin & yang, domestics and imports. Our passion is cars, regardless of origin.:beer::goodjob:

Look at that, installed the front strut bar too, maybe my suspension bushings was a tad ran down but did you notice a difference? I did!

I didn't really get a chance to push it, I don't think I will feel it to much though because I put rubber spacers under it to protect the paint. :p It's more for looks now than function.

Awesome - so clean! Do you think I could get pass bar with an aftermarket inline fuel filter? Also should i purchase a Gsr throttle cable?

Yea you can get away with a inline fuel filter, but make sure you have an area of the fuel line higher than the fuel rail so you can siphon the fuel. I used a GSR shift linkage but I had to cut the rubber pedal stopper off of my old line and swap it over because it's like a quarter of a inch to long. I wonder how a Si line would work, might be to short since the TB is up higher.

so how's the ride bromigo? I know weight usually plays a big roll in ride feel, but I was just curious. Now that they are sucked in you can go lower :) LOL

They feel a little bit lighter. I can barely tell a difference. Something vibrates though, I think it's the Autozone axles. :thumbdown:

I would run the OEM filter, and I had to add a rubber spacer to my GSR cable to make it work. It's not a bolt in deal like some people claim. You can cut off the rubber spacer from your single cam cable, wrap it around, then super glue it back together. It will hold strong with super glue, rubber likes that stuff.
